70's St Michaels Wool Jacket|Vintage Safari-Style Wool Jacket
Buyer's Note
St Michael's was a brand developed by the major retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S, a slightly upscale supermarket that can still be found throughout the UK) from the 1920s to the 1990s.
This is a 70s wool jacket that is experiencing a resurgence in popularity as a vintage piece, and it comes with leather braided buttons that match the brown fabric.
While it has a traditional feel, it also has the silhouette and details of a safari jacket, and I styled it referencing the wild yet elegant look that Yves Saint Laurent himself wore.
Even though it's a mid-priced item from a major retailer, you can feel the superior tailoring that sets it apart from today's mass-produced goods.
