Buyer's Note

There are apparently several places in the United States called London, and this cloak has a tag that reads "CE Ward New London, Ohio."

The company, located in New London, Ohio, was a manufacturer that specialized in clothing, uniforms, and ceremonial attire for fraternal organizations, including the Freemasons, rather than brands.
There are records that the factory has been in operation since the 1910s.

This WWII nurse's navy blue wool cape dates from the 1940s, but the wool is in excellent condition and the vibrant red lining adds a touch of patriotism and history.

The fastener can be attached either vertically or horizontally, and a snap button has been added to the neck so it stays firmly in place and can be worn without getting in the way.

The "MGH" embroidered on it is likely the initials of the original owner, who is presumably a fairly petite female nurse compared to similar items found online.
