70's Royal Blue Suit | Caroline Charles London | Vintage 3-Piece
Buyer's Note
Caroline Charles founded the brand in 1963 when she was just 21 years old, after working for Mary Quant .
It led the Swinging London movement, and its clients at the time included model Marianne Faithfull , actress Barbara Streisand , Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones , and Ringo Starr of The Beatles . It is also famous for being a favorite of Princess Diana in the 1980s.
This vibrant royal blue three-piece set was one of the buyer's most special finds, dating from the 1970s, when the brand was at its height of growth and expanded to Los Angeles.
The jacket features puff sleeves and numerous walnut buttons, and has a beautiful waistline, creating a handsome look when paired with a generously draped skirt.
It also comes with a long tie made of the same material, allowing you to make a large bow.
You can wear it with both dignity and individuality!
