70's Silk Set Up | Caroline Charles London | Vintage 2-Piece
Buyer's Note
Caroline Charles founded the brand in 1963 when she was just 21 years old, after working for Mary Quant.
The brand was a leader in the Swinging London movement, and its clients at the time included model Marianne Faithfull, actress Barbara Streisand, Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones, and Ringo Starr of The Beatles.
It is also famous for being a favorite of Princess Diana in the 1980s.
The silk two-piece set was one of the buyer's most special finds, dating from the 1970s, when the brand was at its height of growth and expanded to Los Angeles.
It is made up of fine star and leaf patterns that are both elegant and playful.
It also comes with a beautiful tie made from the same material, making it a vintage piece you'll want to cherish forever!
