Buyer's Note

Emily Jane was a brand that offered children's clothing made from high-quality British wool in the 1960s and 70s, and was sold at the upscale department store Harrods.

Among them, formal outerwear in British style, such as check patterns and tweed, seems to have been particularly popular.

This is a coat for a 10-11 year old, about 140cm tall, but a model who is 164cm tall was also able to wear it. (Wearing a knit sweater underneath)

It's a lovely design, not too harsh and not too cute, with a bright red wool reminiscent of a Royal Guardsman's uniform, and a round velvet collar and pockets.

There are no missing gold buttons, and the overall condition is very good.

Staff of English Heritage, which manages historical buildings and ruins in the UK, such as the Tower of London, still wear uniforms like this today.

This is a special garment that we would love for anyone who enjoys the world of the Paddington Bear series, published in 1958, or British historical films.
