60s hot pink maxi dress with velvet bow
Buyer's Note
Maxi dresses from the late 60s to the 70s where color itself was the main focus.
Velvet ribbons are attached below the bust and high on the waist, creating an excellent figure-enhancing effect.
The modest high neck and puff sleeves also create a compact silhouette.
I imagine that the shocking pink, flowing I-line dresses by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Cardin seen in magazines from the late 60s set this trend.
